I really like the fact that people are not coming into my room and I don't have to worry about the things I leave in the room and yet you sent someone into my room when you said that you wouldn't unless I requested this service. My main pet peeve was the sticker on the mirror in the bathroom stating "For your comfort, we want your stay to be as undisturbed as possible, so we will only provide housekeeping upon your request." Well, we did not request any housekeeping and yet someone came in and changed the towels and emptied the trash. So many things that are wet and need to dry out. Wish they would put up more hooks and towel bars, especially when you are at the beach and going to the pool. We always bring plug in air fresheners for our room, so it smells fresh for us, and that was sufficient for us. Didn't notice it as much inside the building, thank goodness. Upon exiting our vehicle, we immediately noticed the smell from the water treatment plant right behind the hotel.

As typical for this brand there was a full size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave, along with cups bowls, plates etc.
The hotel is fairly new and the rooms are well appointed. There were outdoor patios on 2 sides of the hotel. The exercise room and the business center were all in the lobby. The lobby is bright and open with a pantry to buy food items etc. When you turn on Creech street you MUST make an immediate hairpin turn into the hotel. It is conveniently located right off the highway. Put the brake on Drake because he's a train wreck.… The hotel is beautiful and new but the service is horrible. Hilton should cut their loss with this manager before he cost them a lot of business. When speaking to Drake he was just condescending and made sure to tell us he was the assistant GM when we asked for a manager to help us because of his attitude. The parking lot wasn't full and didn't look like the hotel was full. We called before arriving and explained our situation and he said he can't guarantee anything and will do what he can. Drake decided to put us right next to the elevator. We didn't think that was an unreasonable request. So we like to choose a quieter area so he can also rest peacefully also. He will alert us if he thinks there is someone/something outside. We asked for a corner/end room because we had a dog and is sensitive to noise. We were passing through and only staying one night.

He can't think outside the box, he doesn't know how to deescalate situations and just fuels the problem. He seems to be the common denominator for just bad customer service.
